Sharing Stories About Climate Change

New York City Safe Energy Campaign presents:

Sharing Stories About Climate Change

Saturday, Nov 14, 2-4 pm at Lower East Side Ecology Center

Come to listen, to talk. We’ll have a musician and a storyteller, and we want to hear your stories.

What events have happened to you or your family, to your home, to the people in your world in these changing times? Have you experienced climate injustice, environmental racism? What dreams are you having?

We’re all in this together. Let’s share with one another.

This event is free and open to everyone. Snacks will be provided. We’re also working on free pedicab rides from the FDR Drive.

The LOWER EAST SIDE ECOLOGY CENTER is in EAST RIVER PARK in the red brick two-story building known as the FIRE BOAT HOUSE.

Subway: F or J to ESSEX/DELANCEY, stay on the downtown side of the street, walk toward the FDR DRIVE, cross the PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE at Delancey Street over the highway. You will see the FIRE BOAT HOUSE on the left just before the big ballfield.

Bus: M14A or the M22 bus to the last stop: GRAND STREET/FDR DRIVE. Walk south on the FDR service road to CHERRY STREET. Enter CORLEARS HOOK PARK, walk past the flagpole, cross the PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, and look north for the FIRE BOAT HOUSE just behind the ballfield.
